On Wednesday, the last eight games of Matchday 1 of the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League group stage will be played. Barcelona will be one of the participating teams on Wednesday night as the Blaugrana welcome Viktoria Plzen to the Spotify Camp Nou.

Although there are no injuries or suspension issues for Barcelona going into this game, head coach Xavi may decide to rest a few players on Wednesday night.
Andreas Christensen may replace Eric Garcia in the back four, while Gavi might get a break in midfield while Frenkie de Jong might start.
Another player who may be dropped from the starting lineup at this point in the season is usmane Dembele, with Ferran Torres perhaps joining Raphael and Lewandowski in the final third.
Ansu Fati is coming closer to starting games for Barcelona, but the team is still being cautious with the kid given his previous history of injuries, so he could once again come off the bench today.
Petr Pejsa’s significant knee injury will keep Plzen out for a while, but other than that, the visitors are in fine form going into the match at Camp Nou.
